Reminder: M1 riders may not carry a passenger at all. The points below apply at licence levels where carrying a passenger is permitted.
- Passengers. A passenger must wear an approved helmet with the chin strap securely fastened, just like the rider.
- Cargo. Secure cargo firmly and keep it low and centred so it cannot shift and upset the motorcycle's balance and handling.
